Lines-Plan of the Oostzeejol.

I searched for a long time for drawings of the Oostzeejol -Midget 15 - Lynaes 14 in order to build a model or even a half model. Unfortunately, no drawings could be found. So I tried to create a line drawing myself and then built a model. During construction, however, I realised that the drawing still had a few errors. But there were several requests for the drawing.

I found a professional, who made the necessary corrections on the computer and created a CAD model for me as a PDF file. It is a so-called ‘wire model’ (line drawing) and not a "solid model".

Since this naturally involved costs, I cannot simply give the line drawing away for free. However, I do not want to profit from it either. The aim is to raise Euro 200. If I can find 10 people who are willing to pay 20 Euro each, I can email the PDF file to them. If you are interested, please send me an email expressing your interest. No one needs to transfer any money yet. Once I have 10 interested parties, I will send an email with my bank details and PayPal address. Everyone will receive an email confirming receipt of payment. Once the money has been received, I will send the file as a PDF.

Please note: This is a line drawing of the hull and is intended exclusively for model making.

Here I will always post the current number of interested parties:

I will be the first.

 "Dobber"?

DobberN

They float on the water, waiting for a fish to drag them under. But then the fish will be dragged out of the water by the fisherman.
For me, Dobber is: Floating around without a plan.

I bought my Midget from Peter, a really nice guy who looked very well after her in the years he owned the boat. I could have sailed her without doing any maintenance work, but I wanted to change the name and a new colour above the waterline.

I had only two weeks time, weekends and evenings, because my trip to Morbihan/France was scheduled.

Anyway, I never intended to buy a sailboat for spending many weeks of working on her. The idea was to do maximum sailing in the limited time there is.

Our Trip to the 13th EDITION LA SEMAINE DU GOLFE DU MORBIHAN - 26th MAI TO 1st JUNE 2025

Last week I went with a friend to La Semaine Du Golfe de Morbihan. We sailed in the Flotille I: "petit classique habitable <8m".

Fantastic sailing with CapeCutter19's, Cornish Shrimpers 17 and 19, numerous French designs, and many more. In our Flottile probably 150 boats. An incredible atmosphere and adventures sailing in the >9 knots currents caused by the tidal streams.

Our Midget 15 was one of the smaller boats in the fleet but we could keep up with most boats.

"Black Pearl" has received a full re-fit in 2024/2025, and is in the water again since Mai 2025.

Special features are a electric BBM installed in the well. This is a Combi700 24 volt motor.
I have installed also a self-made battery (24 volts, 300Ah), which gives an autonomy of 20hrs on 3kts, of 10 hours at 4kts.

“Lille” is back in her element. I'm really flashed by the electric motor running in the shaft, quieter on the water than paddling and with a 20 W solar panel the battery is fully charged in no time.

(These fotos of "Lille" in the water are dated 2012. New ones will be shown spring 2025.)

I bought “Lille” in Eelde near Groningen and took her to the Doveelbe in Hamburg in 2012.  A magical but also very limited area for a magical boat. On a trip to the Baltic Sea I enjoyed the vastness of the sea, but on the other hand I also realized that the quality of living is no longer sufficient when it rains for three weeks, like on this trip. I came to know and love the city Neustadt i. H.  And I became the owner of a Havsfidra and later a Marina 75.

"Lille" remained on the Doveelbe. However, I never lost sight and was able to buy her back this spring. I sold my boat in Neustadt. Downsizing.

Since then I have been working on restoring it to its former glory. She is currently on land and will be back in in water next season. In contrast to the old photos, she will be operated with an electric outboard engine in the future, which is quite a challenge because the engine is driven in the outboard well and the propeller has to fit so that the rudder blade is not hindered. And the head must not interfere with the tiller. But I found what I was looking for with a brushless motor.

The cabin is now comfortable again, with new upholstery.

There is also a new cockpit cover that goes around the front of the mast and thus keeps the "companionway" safely dry.

The running rigging will soon be renewed.
